We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location nestled within the mountains provided a refreshing escape from the hot summer weather. Our spacious bamboo room showcased natural light and a serene ambiance, while the sound of the nearby flowing river lulled us to sleep. The hotel staff, especially the owner and his sister, were extremely friendly and helpful, ensuring we felt at home throughout our stay. The highlight of our experience was the delicious breakfast, with a wide array of dishes served in a well-organized manner. We also enjoyed the invigorating baths, particularly the outdoor one.

The meals were served in a lovely dining room by the side of a river, the dishes were unbeatable and used their local ingredients in season. The outdoor onsen was fantastic, and the staff was extremely helpful and kind.
The location of this ryokan is very isolated and there are no shops, restaurants or convenience stores nearby. One must be prepared with their own food for dinner or reserve dinner there.

Incredible dining experience with a private table by the fireplace, creating a truly romantic atmosphere for our wedding anniversary celebration. The host and his family went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. The peaceful location in a small town was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The ryokan also offered a unique cave onsen experience. highly recommended!

Spent Xmas here with family and it was a great experience. The traditional vibe of the hotel was really amazing and the staff was very welcoming. Loved the outdoor hot springs and the pictures you can take with the mountain scenery in the background. The food was also top-notch, offering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
The hotel is in a bit of a secluded location, so it can be difficult to find if you're not familiar with the area. The rooms were also a bit small for our liking and lacked some modern amenities, such as a private shower.

We had an amazing stay in this peaceful and beautiful hotel. The staff were incredibly accommodating and made us feel at home. The room was spacious, clean, and overlooked a stunning natural view. The hotel facilities, especially the public and private hot springs, were well-appointed and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a culinary feast, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nothing, all great.

Staying at this traditional inn in a peaceful town was a wonderful experience. The hospitality was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The meals were delicious, using fresh, local ingredients, and included a romantic dinner by the fireplace. Our room had a breathtaking panoramic view of the town and surrounding mountains and was clean and cozy. The outdoor onsen was a highlight of our stay, with shelter to protect us from the elements.
The hotel's location is a bit secluded and requires a drive to reach the more touristy areas.
Tourists from India often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
